Ik gebruik een mac en heb een airport extreem.
Is dit goed genoeg voor de glasvezel en werkt het ook?

Ik ben zelf geen mac gebruiker maar na wat googlen blijken er meerdere airports te zijn. Google even of bekijk de specs van jou uitvoering. Als hij een 1 GB WAN poort, dat is dus de glasvezel kant, zit je goed. Anders zou ik even wachten tot je glasvezel hebt en op speedtest.net een test uitvoeren of je de volledige snelheid wel haalt.

Ik heb even gekeken en de wan poort is inderdaad 1 gigabit.
Bedankt voor de tip en ik zal, als het zover is, even testen.

nou ben ik net een half jaar mac gebruiker, ik was daar eigenlijk gewoon vanuit gegaan.
Hoe zie ik of ik de 1Gb WAN poort heb?

Ik heb ook een airport extreme en zit vrolijk met 120Mbit bij Ziggo te downloaden, dus glasvezel gaat daar prima over werken
